It's the holiday season! :)

Thursday, December 01, 2011

---Oooh, I just love the holiday season! But I am sooooo busy. My daughter and son-in-law came up from Texas for Thanksgiving with their two dogs (a dachsie and a mystery). There was lots of barking and running and cat hissing. It was fun but- oh, it's all peaceful again. Then yesterday we drove up to my other daughter's house in Virginia, and our other daughter from Alabama was there as well. Likewise each daughter has her own dog and the one in Virginia also has a cat so more barking, running and hissing. It was fun to see everyone though. The bonus is that the daughter in Virginia has children! Yep, got to see the grandkiddies (although one is almost 18! the other is only 6 and still cute...).
---I have to get almost all my gifts for my family yet!-but a coat is all I am missing for my Salvation Army Angel! I have time on that one (Dec 9th) but all the others will have to be mailed...must look for the cutoff dates.
---I started reading some of Bob Greene's books (Oprah's physical fitness guy...I like him but not an Oprah fan...I just happened to see him on some morning show and liked him so I checked a couple books out from the library). I am trying not to weigh myself until Monday to see what happens. (sidenote: Leslie Sansone's book didn't do a thing for me, but I still love her "walk, walk, walk" videos!)
---Okay, so how's your holiday season going?

Wow!! You really have been busy. It's nice that you got to see all of your family (and furry kids)!
We just started our charity Christmas shopping last weekend but ours don't have to be mailed. I love this time of the year!!!!
Hope you have a good week! emoticon
