More than halfway done! Woohoo!
So I'm starting to think that maybe if I start off my day with a picture that I post, maybe I will spend a few extra minutes a day on my appearance. I feel like I have been slacking on my morning routine so much lately, and kind of looking like a slob. So here is my photo of the day:
Short blog today, but I'm thinking about giving myself a challenge for the month of December. I have always thought about doing the 30 day shred for 30 days straight, but that's never been the way that I have used that program. I have always just used it as an additional workout to my normal routines. But really, it's only 20 minutes, there is really no excuse that I can't do it (except the big one- I'm just being lazy). Guess I'll need to decide tomorrow if I want to set that goal.
Started off the morning with my smoothie, milk, and tea... hit the snooze button a few too many times (as I'm sure I will tomorrow since it's getting so late):
Then had a snack of dried fruit during my morning lesson (not pictured).
Did actually eat lunch in the lounge today... had a spinach salad with tomatoes and artichoke hearts. Salads are just way better with artichokes :P Everyone thought I brought ice cream for lunch with my Baskin Robbins container.
Then I came home and took a nap before meeting up with some girlfriends for dinner. I knew it was going to be hard for me since it was an Italian restaurant (cheese and carbs are my weakness), so I had some popcorn before heading out. Note how dark it is because I was being lazy and didn't feel like getting up to turn the light on.
Made a good choice at dinner... Greek salad minus the cheese:
I did good throughout dinner as my friends ate pizza and offered me some (and it looked amazing).
The not as good choice, and my first real cheat so far. I've never had gelato before, so my friends insisted that I get one, but it was a small amount, and the first dessert that I have had since Thanksgiving:
I know that my dinner/dessert wasn't entirely appropriate for my detox, but I think I did really well considering it was a night out. I'm curious to see how I do Friday and Saturday night... I think I'm going to have to skip going out at all to just get through the rest of the detox. But now I'm close to being done, and I am showing myself that I can do anything I set my mind to!
