Turkey, stuffing and pie, oh my!

So this year, we have three Thanksgiving dinners to attend. We already went to two last night. Thankfully my husband is also on a health kick and we were both able to eat dinner at one place and then eat a little bit of dessert at the 2nd place. But wow... we did over eat just a tad but the meal was pretty balanced and everything on our plates was pretty healthy. I guess it didn't help that we only ate oatmeal and coffee for breakfast and nothing else until about 5pm.

We're visiting our families in LA and when we're in LA, our eating schedule is off, and we just eat when we get a chance... not a good thing. But we're being as good as we can be :)

Tomorrow we're having a Thanksgiving meal with my husband's family, we're doing it a few days later, just to space it out. I'm sure we won't over eat this time, because we'll have access to snacks all day until then.

But all in all, it hasn't been as bad as I pictured it to be... we can still have a healthy and balanced Thanksgiving!

    You did well. I think as long as you get back on track soon, not too much damage done. Then you are going to others home to celebrate. Make sure you have breakfast & lunch before attending the party to keep the snacking to a minimum.

    Great job! Multiple dinners are so difficult especially with all of the favorites high calories items, yikes!
