So I said I would run yesterday and I did! I got on the treadmill about 9PM! My husband looked at me like I was crazy! But it's a run day and I needed to get moving! I've been still for too long!
I laced up, Got my water, got my tunes, headphones and started walking. Did my 5 minute warm up and then headed off for a slow 13mm run.
A little over a mile into the run though, I got a stitch, and not so much in my side. It was more under my left rib. I couldn't shake it. Deep breathes didn't work, water didn't work, slowing my pace didn't work. I had to walk. And I walked for a long time 5-8 minutes. at 3.0mph.
Oddly enough the only thing that kept me from intense pain was the chi running technique. Eventually it worked itself out and continued running. Toward the end I did a little speed work (or what Becki would call normal...lol)
1 minute at 6mph 1 minute walking, wash, rinse and repeat!
In other news the other day when I was on the elliptical in my Ghost Runners.... I noticed how much better my feet, legs, hips feel in my non correction shoes! I do feel more of the "road" but I'm not having the knee hip pain I had before!
Occasionally I wear the asics out.... like grocery shopping. I did that the other day and noticed that my knee was sore and my ankles.... I guess from turning out all the time.

Today I have to cook and get a workout in too. A short ST workout. My dishes are as follows:
Brussel Spouts with leeks, priscuto and cranberries
That's for my sisters Thursday
I'll have Turkey Dinner here, Friday or Saturday with all the sides.
Green bean casserole
And Friday is Black Friday!! I'll be out shopping with the other crazy people!! :) Well looking....getting ideas for my kids and family!
