UGH! I hate falling off the wagon...

but I love starting over. It's like a whole new chance to do it right. I'm having a hard time with comfort foods this week so I'm focusing today on 3 things: TRACKING everything, no matter how high in fat and calories; drinking water (at least 8 glasses); exercise (omg - the 5K I signed up for is only 19 days away!!!!! - Note the slight panic in my voice.). I'm browsing SP for inspiration...time to read more from the SP book!

    The key thing to be careful of - not "starting over" in a blaze of actions and burning out. 19 days to the 5k is 9-10 alternated days of doing improved form, speed, or distance to get there. Last thing you want is an injury because you tried to train too hard and fast.

First thing you want to do is have FUN. Even if you're the slowest person and the last across the finish line, getting there and getting to the end is an awesome feeling. It is a success you can build on. And if you think your speed was too slow ... that's what your NEXT 5k is for.

    Take a deep breath and tell yourself you can do it. Use the challange to your benefit. Have faith and you'll see results.
