Week 2! Woohoo!

Man what an amazing high I am starting this week on! I am so thrilled with my progress last week. Although I have only seen a couple pounds progress so far on the scale, the food area is making huge progress.

I enjoyed my free day yesterday very much. In fact probably too much. Went out on a date an ate a little more than I should have to say the least. Although most of it was veggies (aside from the margarita and onion rings). I look forward to getting use to eating smaller portions so that doesn't happen as often on my free days.

One area I am struggling with is that I am finding I am having a hard time staying above my minimum calories for the day. I seem to be in an all or nothing frame of mind when it come to diet. And when I get into it, I always seem to be too low at the end of the day. I mean, ya I am glad I am not over eating, but I would like to get at least 1,100 calories a day in! I know 900 is way too little, especially with my workouts. I am also way low on my protien. Somehow I have got to be thinking of that more, so I can be getting at least 42g of protien.

Besides that I am SO freaking proud of myself for going a WHOLE WEEK and staying within my ranges!

Although I am trying to extremely limit my sugar except for on Saturday, which is my free day, I did give in and let myself have a piece of chocolate cake that my husband had made yesterday. Well since we were gone most of yesterday we didn't get a chance to have any. I really wanted to have at least one piece of it. I knew I probably shouldn't, but I had a small reasonable sized piece. When I was about 3/4 done with it. I realized I was pretty full, and really didn't need to finish it, to feel satisfied. Let me tell you it was hard but I got up, picked up my plate and threw the rest down the sink. What a great feeling of power that was! Me taking charge of my food, instead of my food taking charge of me! I hope that is the first of many good choices to come.

Ok, so here is today's accomplishements and accountability.

**Woke up at 10am! Ahhh! Ok, stayed out a bit late last night with my hunky hubby. :0

**Worked out for 50 min. Walked/ran 2.13 miles. Did weights- Arms, chest and abs.

**Stayed under my calorie limits for the day! A little too much.

**Only drank 7 glasses of water today. That should have been way higher. But woke up late and was grocery shopping half the day. Plan to make it 12 tomorrow

**Blogged!

Yay! Can't wait to make tomorrow another awesome day! Going to make some yummy granola! Gotta be careful though, the calories can really hide in that stuff, healthy or not!

  Wow! I need to raise the bar... and get a plan. You are doing great! My favorite high protein lately is FAGE yogurt, non fat and I add fresh berries and a splenda or organic brown sugar, just a pinch helps. Guess I need to get busy!
