So today I ate great and felt great until I ate my dinner of one slice of cheese pizza. And I think the culprit was the large amount of salt. The tracker listed it as a whopping 1100mg of sodium in one slice of pizza!!!! My total for the day before that was only 700! I was a little bit hungry when I ate the pizza, and I only ate one slice, so I didn't eat too much. But shortly after eating it, I started to feel the whole heart-pounding yucky feeling. So, my blood pressure probably shot up temporarily as a result of the pizza. Ewwww. I don't want to do that again. No wonder I've been feeling so awful lately. Some days I've been eating 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, even 7000 mg of sodium, not to mention a ton of sugar. I had a skinny peppermint mocha and a sugar daddy for a snack and I felt a little bit yucky from the sugar but not as drastic as from the salt. Eating healthy really feels soooo much better!!!!! I ate well until the pizza today and felt so much better that I've been feeling lately. Breakfast was iced coffee with skim milk, a two egg tomato and spinach omelet, and one slice of whole wheat toast from the organic market; lunch was a green smoothie and avocado salad. Yay for a healthier lifestyle!! Oh, and I said no to pumpkin pie today =D
