A call center job = losing weight!? WHAT!?

So, wow. it's been AGES since I've last blogged. I didn't mean to be so MIA for the past few months. I haven't been on Sparkpeople much at all, to be honest. I've updated my weight every now and then using the iPhone app, but I haven't done much else.
I've been busy though. At the end of September, I got a job at a Sprint call center. It's a bit stressful and I hate that I sit for 8-hours a day, 5 days a week, but it's a job and I'm thankful that I have one finally. I went two years without so to finally be tied down to one is amazing. I've met a lot of really great people and I've had a fun time getting to know my co-workers. My training class JUST got split up on Friday after spending 7 weeks together, so that was a bit hard knowing I won't see some of them again, but I get to meet my new team on Tuesday, which will be fun.
The best part about the call center job, though, is that I don't sit around and snack all day like I did when I didn't have a job. Because of this, I've managed to lose 10 lbs!
That's really the only explanation I have because I'm not eating any healthier (sadly, I've only been eating "convenient foods") and I haven't been exercising (no time with work).
But on a bright side, my schedule changes to where I'll be getting off MUCH earlier so that I will have time to work out in the evenings. My schedule also gives me an hour lunch, which gives me time to bring something to eat and sit down and enjoy it rather than rush rush rush to get my food down so I can get on the phones.
Hopefully I'll continue to only have progress to here. I'm ready to make a change for myself.
