I made my goals....

1 - Hit my goal weight of 135 (woohoo!) which lasted about 3 seconds (the truth)

2 - Rode my 1st century ride (that's 100 long miles baby) on 10/2/2011. I was so proud! Then my biking buddy went on vacation, and it rained the 2 times I scheduled caregivers so that I could ride. EXCUSES, EXCUSES...

3 - My scale has lost it's little battery operated brain.

Stumbled off the path, took a wrong turn....sumthin' happened!

I am back somewhere in the neighborhood of 144 lbs. I still fit into those size 8 blue jeans - but some of my other outfits of which I was SO proud to fit into...are now just out of reach again. DARN!

I had my goals....I made 'em.

Then I floundered. No denial - I lost focus on my prize because I guess it was no longer clear what that focus was.

Stopped into SparkPeople from time to time to log an exercise, track my foods for a day or so, read some blogs, etc., but i seemed to have lost that inner spark.

Seriously, it has been like 4 months since I blogged.

Fell into that black hole of oblivion and letting the circumstances overtake what's important. Maybe it is not too late to claw my way back to what matters.

I'll try. Obviously I have stumbled, but it doesn't seem like anything is permanently broke.

Shake it off.

    I am so glad to see you back on a blog! Putting it in perspective, you are still doing great! You have all the tools to get back to the 135 - nine pounds won't be a problem if you set your mind to it, and now you've learned an important lesson for when you start maintenance again. It's all good!
