Happy Saturday everyone!
Here in Canada, I am happy to say Thanksgiving is long over and behind me! I did try extra hard to have a plan, and I say, use the 'real deal' and try portion control rather than the fake stuff....It did def help though to have thought it through before I went to family get together...I had a healthy snack before I went to prevent the appetizer 'graze', made sure I drank lots of water and skipped the alcohol, and just made sure I took small portions. I was successful!
Things are slow these days for me. I am working towards incorporating more exercise in my day to day life. It's not everyday yet, but better! I have found in the past 2 weeks that I really need to curb my 'in front of the TV' time. It is what seems to stop me from getting out and exercising as much as I should. It also can be detrimental for mindless eating that they say we should never do. Always be aware, that is why Spark stresses always eating at the table so you know what you are putting in your mouth and therefore get more 'mental satisfaction' (seriously the have an article about it), and are less likely to want or have the urge to keep eating. So, my goal leading into next week, on my days off, is no TV in the daytime. Hopefully, I will get much more accomplished, and get more exercise!!
I have not been tracking which is a no-no. I do eat so much better, and definitely less, but tracking leads to success!! And water, water, water!!!
That's my plan. Oohhh!!! I just bought Dance Moves (I think that's the title) for Wii !!! They have 3 out. I bought the 2nd, because I liked the music tracks the best, and the girl said it is SO much fun. SO, I'll let you know. I love to dance, so hopefully that will motivate me. They have 40 tracks on them, so that shouldn't get boring too fast.
Well, I gotta get to work! Chores. I work days tomorrow...
