I love to run, but lifting has given me better results.

    Running exactly the same workout on a treadmill isn't running.

    I think it depends on how someone wants their body to look. I love both - I strength trained with a personal trainer for 3 years. He changed it up every time so I never knew what to expect. My husband didn't like how muscular my arms got. Now I run. My shape is definitely a lot different - I am more petite. Also, running is A LOT cheaper and fits in my schedule better.

    Lifting will definitely give you the definition & rev up your metabolism . . . but I like the challenge of running. Planning for a goal, working the plan . . . but it is harder to squeeze in the STwith the running.
