Yes, it is really does not get easier when you reach your goal, but the rewards are great! I have more energy, I look and feel better, I receive compliments...a lot, and I praise God that I'm not where I was 9 months ago!
With the holidays coming and all the advertisements on TV, especially those food related ones, it is difficult for all of us!!! We have to keep on persevering, think, and talk positively and be around those with positive minds as well to keep us on track!!
For me, exercise is a big key, not only the physical exercise.....DAILY both the exercise of pushing away from the table, aerobic and strength training and..... telling the pushy food people that you've had enough and yes, one more may hurt me (mentally and physically)!!When you eat something that you really do not want to eat, for me, anyway, it's telling me that I'm NOT worth it, and I AM worth it!!! We can take control and say NO to those who want to derail us. Maybe it is not meant on purpose, but I think sometimes it is. Jealousy on some peoples' parts can play a big role in us succeeding or not. So, with that said, keep your goals ALWAYS in mind, talk out loud in POSITIVE words only, send up a prayer for God's help and NEVER EVER GIVE UP!!!
Here's one final thought on food.......Half it and you can have it! It works for any food, especially with Thanksgiving right around the corner and the big month of December with parties, baking, shopping and the smell of food at the mall if you choose to go there. I, personally, do not shop at the mall anymore; haven't in years, and when I do go shopping, I go early in the morning to hopefully beat the crowd and always after I've had a good breakfast!!
God bless YOU and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
