I am so NOT a techie!

Wednesday, November 16, 2011

I really thought I was a slight techie. I know and admit I am not patient enough for my
Garmin watch. I had to have KG Possible program that silly thing for me. I wore it a lot when it was new and exciting but it just didnt hold my fleeting attention span. So my newest tecie toy was an ipod. My boys had them, they looked fun. I like games and music so for Birthday or Christmas the boys got together and mom got a great gift. Well somehow I figured out how to download the couch to 5k program on there. Wow how fun is that? The last time I did the program(that would be a year ago) I did it in silence. This time I am going to program a song list to play while I train. Note to self, do not try this again while running. Not only is it dangerous but ipods fly really far when you drop it on a moving belt on a treadmill. But to make this confession of mine short, I have a play list on there now. It took me awhile but its there. I am now going back to angry birds. THANKS TO SUPER38OO I am hooked on that dumb game and stuck on level 15.
Tomorrow I run to all my favorite singers!

I think you do fine with "techie" stuff. The Garmin watch is a bit complex, but it has been great to "borrow" it from you this summer. It has been a big help in pacing, and accurate mileage tracking. As for being hooked on Angry Birds, join the club! (PS, if you get stuck, let a teenager get you through that level! They are great at it.)
