Help! I need a restart . . . .

Wednesday, November 16, 2011

OK ~ Here I am in November without reaching my goals. . . . AGAIN!

In fact my weight is going in the wrong direction. There are lots of reasons that I could blame-

Difficulty walking / standing / exercising due to the bum knee.

I could also blame the Fibromyalgia that leaves me with little energy for well anything . . . .
cooking healthy, besides, I'd have to actually shop!
Easier to just order emoticon

So-ooo emoticon how do I MOTIVATE myself to get serious again, especially without the ability to emoticon emoticon burn those calories.

Yes, I know I'm whining, being lazy but trying to get over that.
So mainly this is just me coming clean.

Thanks so much you guys! emoticon
I do start Rx next week to see if I can strengthen that knee, if not it will mean seeing a surgeon. We'll see.
The idea about cooking lots & freezing it DD is a good one that I have always wanted to do, unfortunately I never had the freezer space but . . . I am going to buy one this week. emoticon So I'll be able to do this!
Love y'all! emoticon

Proud of you! Way to pony up. Takes courage to get honest and get back on track of doing the things you can.

I SO hear ya. Sorry about your bum knee. There's little worse than having our bodies fall apart and fibro is so bad this time of year. It really is a tough to manage some days but we can do it. You'll get back on and get on with it, I know you will *smiles* It's just a bump in the road. As far as cooking healthy food, I make huge pots of soups loaded with greens that I can heat up through the week. They're hot, comforting and filling so I only "cook" about every 3-5 days which is great as I'm so exhausted this time of year. I really feel I'm meant to hibernate lol. (((hugs)))

Being honest with your self is a great start , just try to beat the last streak you had ,and try to start out slowly again ... like 10 minutes a day or even 5 really will help get ya moving .. maybe trying right when ya get up in the am

Coming clean is the start. welcome back. I am just starting to exercise again. I have been so lazy about it. I decided to do the cto5k program all over again just to remotivate myself. Since you have a bad knee can you find a water areobics class? those are awesome and really work the entire bod! I hope all works out.
