Well, my schedule wouldn't let me wait out the rain today so I ran my 3 miles in the rain. I usually enjoy it because I don't get so hot. Like I always tell me boys "You're not made of sugar. You won't melt" So gotta' be an example, right?
Okay, my problem... My right calf muscle keeps tightening up on me. I'm warming up as usual, but after I start running that thing starts getting tight. It's not so bad that I can't run, but I don't want to hurt myself. It has helped to pause and stretch or walk a bit and stretch that muscle out as I walk, but nothing's really making it go away as long as I'm running.
There's no soreness once the run is over, and yes, I'm stretching out after I run.
Any advice? What am I missing?
