Filling my bucket with cookies!

Please don't hiss and boo yet. Part of my personal journey is to find more joy. Sugar cookies are my favorite. I've always wanted to be able to decorate one like a pro.

I enrolled in a cookie decorating class. It was just one class that lasted two hours. We saw a Cookie Artist do her stuff. Then we got our chance to use all her supplies and decorate our own cookies. Talk about a kid in a candy shop!

It will take a lot of practice before my cookies look like artwork. I did find Joy in learning the process! One more check mark on my bucket list.

I found these images on the Internet. Some day I hope my cookies will look like these. You've got to love the bikini cookies!!

    FUN!! I have never even BAKED one that turned out right... so I am impressed! This is something that has been on my 'list' too... I even have the cookie cutter collection!

    This is SOOOOOO on my bucket list of things I NEED to do. I have an artist on my BLC team and you need to see her art and her cookies. OMG(oodness)....OILPAINTER and find her links. She is AMAZING!

So how did you find a class?

I NEED to find one. Tis the season right? And they will make amazing gifts. Last year for our big holiday open house, I paid BIG for special ones for our party. The class could
save us huge money if I can do it. How hard is it? How long before you think you'll be proficient? How many pounds will I gain? :)

    No hissing or booing here! We all need our treats once and in a while! I decorate suger Christmas cookies with my sisters as a tradition. It is super fun even through our cookies never look like that either! emoticon Love the bikini cookies! It amazes me how creative people can be!

    YES AND WE KNOW WHY WE HAVE TO LOVE THE BIKINI COOKIES:you get two cookies lol.as one of your other responses said you donīt have to eat them all yourself(though i will allow you a couple)but you could do them and give them as presants wrapped in clear foil or arrange attratively on a plate or in a cookie tin that each time afterwards they use the cookie tin they will think of you and your cookies.homemade presants are so much better than brought ones in my book.if you want i can give you my address and you can send me some,lol.well done on working on your bucket list.what is next on it?

    I love your cookies! Just because you are creative and that is your medium, it doesn't mean you have to eat them all :)
