Been absent from SP but am back now!

Woah, I been away from SP for ages! I didn't realise my last post was in August, and this is coming from someone who found SparkPeople so useful and integral to their efforts that I used the trackers every day!
The reason why I have been absent from SP is because of work. From January to July I had been volunteering in my local primary school to gain work experience with children, and luckily was offered a paid job working as a teaching assistant! The problem was that the job was based in south London, which is quite far from where I am now. I could have tried to get a job more locally but I feel that London is my home and wanted to move back there ASAP. It's nice to stay with my parents for a while but I miss the hubbub of the city and all that it offers!
It takes me 2 hours to get to work in London each way (1 hour by train and then 1 hour by tube) and so I regularly commute over 20 hours a week! Talk about being busy! I have to get up at 5.30am to be at the school for 9 and when I get back, it's 6pm. To get the required amount of sleep, I need to go to bed at 9.30pm and so unfortunately only have 3 or so hours to spare in the evening. Just trying to cook, eat, spend time with my family and relax is difficult, so you can imagine the difficulties of finding the time to use SP and exercise as much as I used to. I have been lucky that my weight has not moved much since I am still following the guidelines of Tosca Reno's 'Clean Eating' programme (i.e., eating small regular meal throughout the day; starting the day with porridge; having protein in every meal, which is especially important but slightly difficult to do as a vegetarian; drinking lots of water; and avoiding sugar-based snack foods). There was one period when my eating style relaxed too much and I put on 5 lbs but going back to these principles helped the weight go back down to my new usual weight of 145-147lbs without effort.
The only exercise I have been doing involves some cardio and strength training at the weekends so although my weight has not increased, my body feels less strong and more flabby :P I'm still commuting to London every weekday for the next 2 / 3 weeks but am finding the travelling is really starting to affect me now. I often feel like I am sleep walking through life, am not that with-it when at work and have been getting more grumpy with my family! It's annoying because I don't want to feel so tired and start snapping at people but I need this experience so I will keep at it until xmas and then move to London so at least I won't need to commute so far. Hopefully I will find regular work when I move into the city, but I have been contacted by some agencies about possible jobs so I am hopeful.
Sorry for all the waffle but I felt I needed to explain why I have been away for so long and been so busy. I may not be able to exercise as much as I would like to but I want to use SP more to keep motivated and make sure I am eating healthy.
