A) how long this will take
B) how many calories will I burn
C) how many times can I do it before Thanksgiving.....
100 jumping jacks
90 crunches (your style- with stability ball, feet hooked under the couch, whatever)
80 squats (the the yoga chair pose, up and down...or holding a pilates ball out in front)
70 leg lifts (I take this to be on my back, hands at low back and starting legs together up at 90 degrees and then down to 30-45 degrees)
60 jumping jacks
30 leg lifts
20 jumping jacks
RUN FOR 10 MINUTES.
Feel free to copy/post/challenge yourself or others!
11/13/11- 34 minutes total!!! I used 3 lb weights when I was doing squats (and these are medium/moderate squats) and did bicep curls. The hardest part? the 10 minute run!!!! But I did it!!! My husband said he wanted to do it with me, he crapped out about 1/3rd of the way in, but I think he'll do it with me again and take an inhaler puff before he gets started. I'd have plenty of time to do this at lunch break and still have time to cool off!
11/15/2011- 34 minutes, this time it seemd so much harder than the first time. Had a hard tiem with the jogging at the end, ended up walking for the last 2 minutes, but honestly it's the same speed as jogging for me! I also tried to track it fitness wise, it probably ends up being anywhere from 3-400 calories, but because you can't track the squats and crunches and leg lifts as cardio, I'm not quite sure. I'm sweating like a wall street banker in an occupy park tho!
