Thankful for Our Veterans!
Friday, November 11, 2011
I want to first say a big thanks to all the veterans who sacrificed so much for us to be a free country. I'm glad there is a day to celebrate what you have done for all of us!
Today is the last official day of our homeschool P.E., but one of the members in our homeschool group, who is simply amazing, worked it out that the older kids who work out in the weight room can continue to do so until the end of the year for free at the YMCA.
That's so wonderful because my son enjoys working out so much there but has been unable to work out on the treadmill, step machine, etc. lately due to his knee bothering him (doctor's orders).
My friend who is the co-leader in our homeschool group is FINALLY going to be coming back to the group near the end of the month or in December, which is good. I have felt like I had to attend most activities although I had a full schedule since she wasn't ever there and someone had to represent the group. It's been great for the kids though because they have really enjoyed all the activities, but poor Mom is exhausted, LOL.
We have such a great group of members though and I am so thankful for them and all that they bring to our group whether in talent, support, etc.
