Applebees Restaurant was offering a free meal to all veterans. My husband and I have never taken advantage of anything like that, but this year we went. There were many veterans there. We had a delicious meal and a good time, a "date night." It was a wonderful day for us.
Here's wishing you a Happy Veteran's Day. I wanted to say, Thank You, for giving of your life and for your service for my freedom.
I sent my boyfriend Dream, Dream, Dream and often wondered if the record was broken by the time it got to him in Vietnam.
