you have to learn to crawl before you learn to walk...

well... well... well...

Almost mid-month and what do I have to show for it?

Well, as a matter of fact... I've lost over 5 lbs!!! woo hoo!!!
This [November Mission] of mine is off to a good start, hopefully I can keep my momentum and fly though this month. I still haven't adjusted to my current situation of having the bf so far but we speak everyday and that helps. Now we've been discussing the purchase of another car. OH BOY!!!! To be honest i'm not even sure we could afford another one, but it would help greatly in us spending time together. So we probably will jump into something we shouldn't.

On another note it is wednesday and I will be seeing him this weekend. Not sure until when, we haven't worked out all the details yet... but one step at a time is my new moto. And it is great because it really fits into all aspects of my life.

Now for a quick update on [November Mission]

Goal #1
Staying within my calorie range by reducing the size of the portions I eat.

--> Working on it. Being somewhat successful... But I cannot give up and I must watch out for week-ends.

Goal #2
EXERCISE!!! Whether it be a walk after supper, the wii, or going to the actual gym. at least 30mins/day.

--> i've been forcing myself to do wii fit, at least 30 mins / day. This week it is going well, last week is another story. (oops)

Goal #3
Get on top of my school work. (i've been seriously slacking off) Finish assignment 6 and 7. And read Module 8.

--> handed in assignment 6 (still waiting on my marks) and reading mod 7. But i am starting to think this one may take awhile.

21 days left! and tomorrow we start the winter challenge. This should be fun, and a great way to keep me motivated. I am truly looking forward to the next 8 weeks. :)

Congratulations on your five pound lost. The key to losing is not to focus on the scale. Stay motivated and log your calories. As long as you following the calorie intake and exercise you will have a greater lose of pounds. Keep up the good work.

Congrats on the 5lbs!!! That is really great. It sounds like you are doing well with all of your goals. I think focusing on one month is a great diea. That way it doesn't seem like an impossible goal. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Cliff800, I have to agree with you on seeing them everyday. I have printed out a page with my monthly goals as well a 2 pictures. (one face on and one side view) of myself. It is at eye level on my fridge. That alone has helped me alot especially when it comes to eating when I'm not hungry. That was a big problem of mine, simply eating because I was bored. I have stopped that habit and I am already seeing results. It is great. How are you doing on your journey?

I liked your blog. It is great that you have taken the time to set goals and try your very best to follow them.
one thing that may help is to copy those goals and post them in an area you see everyday. Maybe make more than one copy(one for the home and one for work).
Force yourself to read the goals everyday(even if you have them memorized).
This will help you to stay on track. It certainly has been working for me.
Remember it's not perfection we are trying to achieve here but a new path in the way we conduct our daily activities.
These are great goals.
Keep up the good work
