It is sometimes daunting to commit to an exercise program that appears to require time you just don't have. That's a common excuse, too. I'm posting this to testify that even a little bit helps.
Since I started back on SP in early October, my cardio has been 10 minutes of walking up the stairs, 5 days a week. It's a minimal time commitment and I do it at work... there is always time to squeeze in 10 minutes. I find that it really clears my head and, on more than one occasion, I've had good ideas for work while huffing and puffing between floors.
This minimal cardio helped me lose 5 kg (11 lb) since early October.
Before, I used to jump rope and do other aerobic exercises at home during fall and winter, but since I now live in the country where even flushing after 10 pm is considered gauche, the only exercise I do at home is strength-training.
