I'm a REAL big fan of eating out at restaurants especially at lunchtime with girlfriends from work. However, since starting this whole Spark thingy, I actually get nervous about eating out and eating at other people's homes. I don't have a clear sense of what their serving size is and often times we go to mom and pop places that don't offer their nutritional information.
Anyway, I know this is something I'll have to get used to going forward. I believe that ordering things in a half size or packaging up half of the meal prior to eating it is a good way to go. A friend of mine used to eat a small salad at home before going out so she wouldn't be so hungry. That's something to consider.
It's times like these that frustrate me. I wish I could just go out and enjoy but perhaps that's the frame of mind I've had for so long and that's what got me in this place in the first place!
