back to days

i had a weekend of night shifts and now am back to days. at least i won't be doing this flip flopping nearly as often now! the transition actually hasn't been too bad so far. the scale's still creeping down and i feel pretty good. my energy levels are still fairly low, particularly in the mornings, but i expect that to continue to get better. onward and upward!

otherwise, just sparking along. the farmers market has had fantastic broccoli and kale for the past couple of weeks, so i've been eating tons of them. also, gypsy soup (from the moosewood cookbook--very tasty), turkey chili, egg white omelets, and homemade pudding! still going strong on the no sugar thing. i make little exceptions here and there (as i told a coworker, i'm not a monk), but by and large it's pretty minimal. it hasn't been enough to spur any cravings or anything. my one urge to binge a few days ago was emotional, i think.

in any case, things are pretty status quo.

today: get to bed early(ish)!
tomorrow: meet up w/a friend for a jog or gym trip
every day: give, forgive, give
