having trouble with mid-day munchies

I do well with choosing a healthy and (usually) filling breakfast. I try to pack my lunch for work, so lunch is usually good. I have trouble, though with the afternoon snacks.

We have tons of unhealthy food laying around at work, and that's about the time I start snacking.

I know I need to plan ahead and bring my own snacks, but not sure what to bring.

One of my goals this week will be to stock up on healthy snack options in the office.

    I can relate to that, I have the same trouble.
    In the afternoon I want to snack too.

    I understand completely!! I live where I work and the kitchen is a mere seconds away. I enjoy grapes in the afternoon but also have found that FiberOne bars give me a nice pick-me-up and cut down on my sweet cravings. emoticon

    I know you can pick healthy afternoon snacks. Something that helped me is my lunch prayer. After saying my regular prayer I thank God for helping me make right choices and letting what I have be enough.

    When I got into the habit of an afternoon snack my prayer would pop into my head and I wanted to make a healthy decision.

    Some days I am more willful than others, but this worked most of the time.
