Birthday Weekend ~ Blog One ~ Hayride
Sunday, November 06, 2011
My birthday weekend started out on Friday evening with a hayride with a bunch of people from church! We had a bonfire, 4 different kinds of soup to eat (potato, chili, vegetable and cabbage), and mexican cornbread and some other kind of bread as well as some hot chocolate, hot cider and Smores!!! :) I had potato and cabbage soup and a couple pieces of mexican cornbread, so yummy, they were tiny pieces. I ended up with a couple cups of hot chocolate and half a cup of cider. TOO much, but it was yummy! :) Then, we went on the hayride. It was sooo COLD... but the fellowship with everyone was just the best... Got back from the hayride and since my vehicle was tore up, mom took one group on home and then came back for my group. We stood around looking at the fire and talking some more. The hayride while cold, was amazingly relaxing, even though it was 24 ft. long and was piled full with kids and adults... Here's a pic someone took of me on there, not a good one but it is what it is! :)
I came home, talked to Jann and Susie on FB for a bit, I was sooo excited for Jann's visit, I could barely contain myself! However, it is time to get ready for church, soooo.... very sorry, I will have to do a Blog Two for Jann's visit!
Love and Spark Hugs,
Update 9:00pm: I think I have had too much excitement this weekend. It feels sooo late, gonna have to blog my visit tomorrow. I just want to include so much in my blog and don't want to rush through it, because I am sleepy. I hope it will be worth your wait!
