To BE or NOT to BE

Choices. Did you ever think about all the choices you make (or choose not to make) in a single day? Most of us rely on past habits to make these choices for us. It would be exhausting to stop and think about every action before you take it. However......it is the poor habits that have gotten us where we are!!
I decided to be more of a participant in my daily choices and was astonished to see some of the autopilot choices I was making throughout the day. It's true, I have changed some major bad habits this year in my new sparklife and I am proud of those. Now, it is time to drill deeper and see what other behind the scenes habits have been holding me back. For example why does "I deserve a treat" always mean some sort of sugar? When the weekend strikes why is staying up much too late and watching TV a reward? Why can negative self talk keep me off the track for a full day? These are all choices and I CAN control them if I recognize them as they dance in front of me. And maybe the biggest question yet is why do you go through so much of the day on autopilot? That is really not being an active participant in the day. So from now on I choose TO BE!
