It's been a while since I've blogged!! I decided to take a little break from exercising and watching what I eat for about a week.
The good news? I didn't last a full week. My body was craving to work out and I felt like utter crap from all the bad food I was eating.
The bad news? I gained a LOT of weight. It pained me but I had to update my weight tracker. Although after the bloat went down (which was like 6 pounds worth of the gain) my true weight isn't so bad. But it's definitely in the WRONG direction.
I've been stuck in the 180s now for months! UGH! I had never experienced a plateau before and now I can't seem to break through this one.
Thankfully my gym is starting up an individual challenge, whoever loses the most weight and finishes certain gym challenges between November 7 and December 16 will win $1000!!!!!!!!
They had one last year and I came pretty close to winning. I am so beyond determined to WIN this one. I need the cash, plus it will hopefully help me break out of the 180s!
Here's my plan. I want to be out of the 180s by Thanksgiving. Hopefully before then! By the end of the challenge I want to be as close to 170 as possible. I want to lose a total of 12 pounds for the challenge. More would be fantastic.
I'm going to turn it up a notch with my workouts. Try new classes and get out of this rut I've been in.
The hardest part for me will be the eating. My weekends are my downfall. It's hard when I don't have a routine. My eating goes out the window. So I've decided that I will have NO cheat meals during this challenge except for Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving falls right in the middle of this challenge. Which will hopefully make the whole not having cheat meals more tolerable. For 3 weeks no cheat meals and then enjoy the holiday. Then back on the wagon for the remainder of the challenge.
I want this bad. If I win, I'm going to use the money to buy myself something really amazing in Italy! Wish me luck!
