I work in retail, so November is a busy, Busy, BUSY month for us. I figured taking some time off before the holiday season hits full swing sounded good (especially as I will lose my paid time off if I don't use it before the end of the fiscal year). I am responsible for auditing our store each month. So now, instead of 4 weeks/20 days to complete my store audit, I have about 12 (-5 for the week off, -1 for district manager visit, -1 for Thanksgiving, and -1 for Black Friday). I think I can still pull it off, IF I am organized and diligent about getting everything done. It might take an extra hour or so on certain days, but I still think having an entire week off to just be away from work will be a good thing. I haven't had more than 4 days off in a row for 2 years! I'm not going anywhere for my time off, just enjoying being home, sleeping late, exercising and spending time with my sons and husband.
