Remember to weigh in the morning when possible before eating or drinking. Also, before showering - your body obsorbs water. emoticon

I do count tea (non-caffeine) as part of my water. But I do drink water in addition. The body is strange and can show a gain before a loss.

Hey thanks I have been really careful with salt as my husband has high blood pressure.......however I just can't drink water on it's own! I have to drink tea. I try to go on my treadmill each day for 10 mins and do a km fast walk.
I agree It is not a is just eating healthy, but you still have to control your calories. the recipes are alspo delicious.
I will plod on and hopefully on Sunday the scales will surprise me!
Thank you for your encouragement :)))

Ugh! It could be that your body now thinks it is in "starvation mode" because of the less calories you are consuming. But from my own experience, only weigh once a week. That way when you stick to the tracking, exercising, and drinking your water, you will have a week that your body adjusts and you wont get discourage day by day. emoticon

Sounds like salt to me. Are you tracking that? Salt is hidden in a lot foods. The best cure is water. dink plenty then drink some more. Water will wash the salt out.

Don't panic as your body is adjusting to your new healthy eating habits. I no longer think of diet but eat healthy. That is because this is a lifestyle not just temporary way of eating. We need to get that in our head permanently. Focus on your victories for the week....four days of healthy eating. emoticon If you haven't been exercising that will surely confuse your body...throw some of that in emoticon Consider the 30 day bootcamp challenge emoticon It is a great way to kick start and build consistency and form new habits. You are going do great! Try to see other successes then on the scale...the way you feel after 4 days of healthy eating. Wishing you a blessed healthy journey to a new, fabulous emoticon person. A day at a time!
