My Dad has passed on also- nine weeks after Mom

I really don't know what to say.

I just feel like sharing what has happened. For my parents to be physically gone does not seem real.

I will always hear their words of wisdom in my mind daily. They taught me well.

I loved them and wish I could have done more.

    I'm sorry for the loss of your parents. I remember feeling stunned the moment I realized I was an "orphan". The realization that they were both gone, was devastating. I miss them terribly, even now...

Just remember that they live on in you Bonnie...& they'll always be in your heart. Take special care now...

    Bonnie I am so so sorry for your loss. I am just back from a trip to see my grandchildren at the coast and had noticed you had stopped by my page. This will be so hard for you after the recent loss of your Mom. My prayers are with you - it's not much help to say but time will help you heal. I believe your Mom and Dad are together again and young again! Take care of yourself - thinking of you!! emoticon

    Oh my heart hurts for you! I am SO sorry! I lost my mom and the great pain that was is still fresh. I cant imagine the pain of loosing both parents so close together! My heart goes out to you and your family.

    My condolences to you. I have never gone through this but today I got the call that my mother had fallen last nite and hurt herself badly. My sister called me and she told me both of them are really in a bad way.. My father couldn't even help her up, he had to call a neighbor... they are 80 and 75. So, I live 5000 km away and am estranged from my father due to incest. You were very fortunate to have both of your parents and a close relationship with them. Sorry for your pain and grief, keep the good memories close to your heart. emoticon

I am so sorry. I too, lost both my parents, and it is especially hard, as our parents are many things to us - our mentors, many times our guidance, our examples, our support, our cheer leaders, our wisdom...and on and on...

    I feel for you, my mom passed about 10 weeks after my dad. There are no words for when this happens. There hasn't been a day in the past 4 years that I wish they were still here. It just sucks. My heart goes out to you. emoticon
