You ever feel like your life is just too busy and you wonder how you do it all. I have been having that feeling a lot lately. And things are about to get busier for me. My husband is going to have to work the next several saturdays. Which means he will be working 6 days a week. We can use the money but he won't be here to help around the house and my youngest has decided she wants to play rec basketball which will be a first for us. I am glad my oldest is busy with clubs and school and I am glad my youngest is showing an interest in sports. So, the question is where does my fitness fit in? Which is the question I have been pondering for awhile. So, tonight as I was waiting for my oldest to text me and tell me she was done with academic bowl, I put in a walk away the pounds dvd. I thought it would be a piece of cake since I have walked more than that lately but calling on all of those different muscle groups made me go wow!!! I did make it through the whole work out and yes I did have to pause it to go get my daughter! But in the end I think all that matters is I completed the workout and yes I did it for me. So, maybe I will only make it to the gym once a week and that may only be on weekends but what matters is I am trying and making my fitness a daily part of my life is a good thing. I have goals like I would like to start jogging and then running but all in good time and no my weight loss is not perfect but neither am I and I will get there in my own sweet time knowing I did this for me and me alone. I know I can do this I have done it before.
My huge down fall is now and will always be is the plain and simple fact I love food. I mean almost all food. I am also a carb addict or the carb queen as my family lovingly puts it. I love fresh bread and desserts and vegetables and meat and potatoes and sweet potatoes and fruits and everything in between. I love growing my own food and providing the best I possible can for myself and my family.
which brings me back to the fact even though my family is super important to me and because of that I need to get healthy for them and that means being as physically fit as possible which means exercising atleast 30 mins everyday.
so that is my challenge and goal for this week. So, wish me luck because here I go!!!
