HEY GUYS!
Wow. I cannot believe it is already OCTOBER 24TH! What?! This year is flying by!
So, on July 27th, I joined sparkpeople and vowed to make a change. I was SO excited. I loved everything about the site. I used it--and was successful! I felt so motivated!
...... and then school came.
Since I've been back at school, I've completely fell off the face of sparkpeople. I've neglected my healthy eating and fitness goals, and it has shown in my weight. I've gained about FIVE POUNDS. yikes. Somehow, I just lost all that motivation. Between school work, extracurricular activities, relationships, and other things, I just "haven't had time." (lame, right?)
But today, I'm back. I realized that I can no longer push my health to the bottom of my to-do list. It's not fair to do that to myself. I had goals, darn it, and I'm going to achieve them! It's never too late to start back up! 5 pounds? PSHHHH so what? With some healthy eating and fitness, I'll knock out those 5 pounds in no time.
Anyway, I'm really exciting about recommitting myself to sparkpeople. I've decided to do things a little differently. For one thing, I'm making way smaller goals for myself. Instead of making a long term weight goal, I'm aiming to reach 155 pounds by November 26th (when I'm home for thanksgiving break!). I think this will be easier to manage for me, as well as more encouraging. Hopefully I can pull it off!
I'm definitely nervous about trying this again and am afraid of failing again. This is why I'm REALLY going to need the sparkpeople community! Please guys, I'm going to need your help and support! Help hold me accountable so I can achieve these goals!
If you have ANY advice, I'd really appreciate it!
