And thank goodness this darn play is almost over! I've been helping with a community theater production the last couple months, and it's worn me out. My hubby and I work on it several days a week, get home at 10:30 at night, have a late dinner (which I usually can't log because the site doesn't work between 11pm and midnight or so), sleep in the next morning, and head off in the early afternoon to do it all over again. Luckily we're two weeks into performances - one more weekend and we'll be tearing it all down and be done.
Not a moment too soon! I haven't been to play tennis in ages. I can only make it to the barn one or twice a week tops. I haven't been able to run in the evenings (though I got in a couple runs last week - one in which I fell when my foot went in a big hole out in the pasture and luckily did not sustain ANY injuries, so I think I'm done with pasture running - I'll stick to more civilized paths). While waiting backstage between acts, I've been doing pushups and squats, so I've been trying to get a little activity in.
Tomorrow is a new day, and the beginning of a new week. Back on the schedule - tracking my food, counting my glasses of water, and exercising every day. And I also intend to work in regular strength training which has been a challenge for me all along - no time like the present to try and make that a regular part of my routine as well.
I'm glad my new lifestyle has carried me through this very challenging time, but I am not as happy without the regular exercise, and I know it is only a matter of time before I start backtracking without it! So tomorrow will be a brand new day.
