Well, my Sparkfriends and Sparkmembers, I can say I've been there and done that,but I HAD HOPED I would be able to keep the weight off permanently WITHOUT having to track! WRONG ~for me,that is!!!! I had stopped tracking when I started Homeschooling or only did it sporadically and sometimes, just Breakfast since that was easier ~I have LOTS of breakfast combos of oatmeal with fruit. May be boring ,but it WORKS FOR ME in KEEPING MY CHOLESTROL at a HEALTHY ,NORMAL level since I brought it down 77 points two years ago. I realize I have not been DAILY EXERCISING and that combined with not tracking has seen the weight inch up ever so slowly ,but IT'S THERE! The Good NEWS is that armed with my SP knowledge of tracking and healthy snacks to eat, I will be able to fight this weight gain and win once again! I am still keeping my BASAL METABOLIC RATE in the 1800s and I still have all the energy I accumulated since losing the weight back in June 2010. I just made the mistake of letting the days slip by with putting exercise on the back burner and replacing it with Homeschooling my child. And though I won't give up Homeschooling my child, I will have to reestablish my routines with tracking and I plan to buy the Spark Cookbook ! {which wasn't available before when I joined ;though the recipes were,it was extra work to locate each recipe for dinner that was 30 min or less and under 350 cals! } For all those in the same boat that I am , I say DON'T GIVE UP THE SHIP!!!! PS~ i JUST CHECKED MY CALORIE INTAKE FOR TODAY AND HIT ALL THE ACCEPTABLE NUMBERS IN ALL THE CATEGORIES! I KNOW I can do this! Another note~For those of you who look @ my photo and say where is the weight? Well, it was taken last Christmas and I am able to "hide" the weight at stomach/belly level b/c I am tall,but it is still there and don't I know it!
