This month I have several chapter's closing in my life. The most significant is finishing my master's degree. I'll be completing my final project and submitting it this weekend. In addition, I'm actively seeking a new job that will allow me to use the skills and knowledge I've compiled during my education journey. I'll be having the 2nd of 3 interviews for an awesome job next week. In addition, I've been teaching as an adjunct professor at the local community college for the past 3 years. I've loved teaching, but found that it is so very draining emotionally. I've been at my current full-time job for 18 years. I love my current job and the company I work for, but it seems like there are so many things in my life coming to fruition that it is time to make positive changes for myself and my family. The first of these changes has been joining SP. I'd been in WW off and off for many years without many results. I found it frustrating to follow the program dutifully with little results. Then I realized the word "dutifully" was part of my problem. I wasn't enjoying the process/program. When I found SP I was energized by the ability to engage in the community and have been successful in the program as a result. I focus on one day at a time and celebrate every success. This has proved to be successful.
