I have definitely been missing on the blog trail this week, but there have been so many additional activities I chose to make my goal at SP to track, to visit the friend feeds and my threads. In that order.

One additional activity was today and it was a field trip with other homeschool families to one of the pumpkin patch places. I originally thought we'd be home by lunch (we met at 10:30) but as it turns out I didn't get back until 4:00! This place was so much fun and had so much the kids could do. Some of us left after 1:00 p.m. to pick up some lunch (I stopped at a Subway and got turkey sandwiches for my family.) and then meet at a local park. Great time of sharing with other mom's while the kids played! Just a great day with beautiful weather! So for my blog I'm going to share photos!

People starting to gather for our group.

My little guy found his pumpkin!

This is the "hay ride" vehicle that brought our entire group to the pumpkin patch.

This is my daughter with a friend from co-op.

They had a great time on the bouncy thing. It was huge!

My son wanted his picture taken by himself in the huge rocking chair.

And then I was lucky enough to capture a sweet photo of my daughter and SP friend Betta13's daughter.

And this one I'm throwing in just because I thought it was so adorable. The lady pulling the wagon is our "Social Activities Director" for co-op. She certainly dressed for the part of "Party Lady" that we always call her!

Loved Carrie in that costume! She's so adorable anyway...

Good job on capturing the day well.
PS Wissel Farms was awesome! I got 5 different kinds of pumpkins/squash, tomatoes, apples, green pepper, onions, gourds, some real honey...all for under $20!!
Thanks for the tip!

First I have to say your children are adorable!! What a fun time it looks like you all had. We have an apple orchard nearby that also grows pumpkins. We used to take the kids all the time. I will treasure those moments!!! This is why we are moms!!!!! emoticon

These are great photos Janet! What a great day, it really was beautiful and the kids look like they are having a great time. Your son in the rocking chair, that has to be one of my faves but also yours and Betta's daughters together is great too! How fun, great life memories! Kudos to you, your priorities are definitely straight!
