I Am A Good Starter

Friday, October 21, 2011

Maybe its enthusiam, as I love to start a new book, or a new project on. The temporary enthusiasm somtimes fades, so around my home there are several books with book marks in. I have quite a few UFOs which in sewing terms are unfinshed objects. I start a task then leave it half done while I move onto something else.
I start many diets too always convinced this one will do it. It doesn't of course so I start a new one.
All is not lost, knowing my own weakness is a good start. I just need to follow a positve start through now and actually finish a book, a sewing UFO, a keep fit routine a sensible eating diet
Thats my October resolution. Why wait till January to start something on? emoticon

I've got oodles of UFO's in my sewing room! And other places as well. Sometimes I read a book until it is done, other times it takes weeks or even months to finish. Read on!

Brilliant blog Ree, love it and will be sharing it!

LOL, wink, now I know what to call those "projects", plenty UFO's to be found in my house too. I won't go as far as to call it a weakness, multi tasking sounds way better and why finish something boring if there might be something exiting waiting around the corner, lol.

I love the term UFO's. Sometimes we just need a break to re-evaluate the situations....what ever they might be. It also gives us a chance to start over again. All the best in reaching your new goal for October. January is not a magical month....every month is magical. emoticon

That sounds so very familiar. I have a closet full of projects started with good intentions and then something happens or I see something that looks more exciting after all, and I set out on new trails. Fortunately my weight is staying down but it could be because I'm tackling some serious housework since my computer is off most of the time now!!! Great blog and keep working on your goals........a bit at a time is better than none at all!

LOL good perspective! I too have some UFO.. and I am a great sarter. Be encouraged, the spark recomends having an accountability partner. Someone who know what you are up to, and will encourage you and set you straight sometimes! That and havine realistic goals, and a frequent reward system, helps me stay on track!
