Day 91 on spark

Thursday, October 20, 2011

I have learned a lot since I joined spark, I now give myself more credit on how strong my body is and how good I can control my temptations.I love sugary and salty snacks, and yes, i still get some on occasions, the one thing that i learned about them , it that they are not off limits, portions just have to be controlled. One thing I am worried about is the big candy holiday coming up, there is going to be a lot in the house with my 2 trick or treaters, We are starting to come up with ideas on how to use the candy instead of just eating it.and my kids are on board with some of the ideas, it was funny the other night, my 6 year old wanted to join me in my nightly exercise, she and my son both did some floor aerobics with my but quickly got bored.I skipped last night, just because i wanted to play with my kids, haven't done that in a while. I am still sticking to my daily exercise but not sure about if i am going to keep working in the night because i do have ha rd time staying asleep if i exercise after 7.I am now at 138 pounds...woo hoo!!i can' t believe i loss so much so fast ,last time i was in the 160's it took me about a year to loose 30 pounds, without changing my eating habits.I am so glad i found this program , and i tell it to many that i know that are trying to loose extra weight. My next goal is to get to 132, I think that would get me just into the "healthy" weight for me, I am hoping to get there before Christmas.I know its a long way off, but I have been loosing less than a pound a week unless i do nightly exercising which is kind of up in the air at the moment.I am going to be exercising on Friday and Saturday evenings, going to take Sunday off.Hopefully this works for me.I am looking forward to the next few weeks hopefully shedding some more pounds ..Hopefully next week another pound...Thanks for reading!!!

As always, thanks for the support and good advice!!

If exercising at night is messing with your sleep, then I would suggest eliminating it. Sleep is simply too important to your overall success. But don't discount playing with your kids as exercise! Depending on what you're doing, it definitely counts! And I think its great that your kids are getting interested in exercising with you. emoticon

I'm so proud of how well you're doing and how far you've come! I have no doubt you can achieve any goal you put your mind to!!
