Sometimes goals are so hard to maintain

I set a goal to run 15 miles a week and today is Thursday and I have not yet run 1 mile. However, I am getting my yard work done - I spent a over 5 hours raking and mowing my yard and I am not done yet. I am getting a great arm workout.

    such a beautiful area! Wow that was a lot of yard work. Sometimes obstacles slow you down from 'the goal list' but the week is NOT over yet! You just might make the running goal after all!

    You may not hit your 15 mile goal but you are outside working hard and enjoying a peaceful day. I say that's a win. Your arms, shoulders and back will get a great workout. emoticon emoticon
