i miss my me time, walking time.

Wednesday, October 19, 2011

No walk today. The rain has poured here, I guess its time to break out the treadmill, even though the belt was somewhat wobbly the last time I used it.
I need to find a new belt. Or, just buy a new treadmill, even though I am limited for space for one.
And, I hate walking on the treadmill, I get so bored so fast, and end up quitting before I get any kind of walk going.
So, will just have to make the most of weights and the bike today.
Went over my calories anyway.
Blah.
Cold here tonight, but might as well get used to that, since winter is right around the corner.
I am really going to start working on my core, my stomach most especially, so if anyone has any good exercise suggestions, let me have them.
Am enjoying this one totally doctor free week, cause Monday its back to the heart doc.
Stay warm friends.

Check out Nicole's pilate videos here on SP. Pilates is one of the best for core exercises. Recommended to me by a doctor.

Try what i do. I take my guide dog and we hit the malls in cold weather. It works for us and that's OUR time.

I have been taking yoga since June, and my stomach feels so much stronger. It is a really easy class too, because of my fibromyalgia it has to be easy. It is unreal what a difference it makes in your core. Everyone keeps asking if I lost weight, even though I have NOT, I feel like I have.

Rainy here in Maryland today also. It was just a light misty rain early so I was able to get in a 6-1/2 mile walk/run. Just remember, any exercise is better than none.
