my energy levels have been super low lately. whenever this happens, i try to figure out the cause. but, there are so many possibilities--working night shift, depression, meds, getting sick, not sleeping well, not eating right, etc.--that it's difficult to really determine why with any certainty. i did get outside and active for a little while yesterday, so that was good. today i have some errands and cooking to do but nothing else pressing. should be manageable.
my calorie intake has been pretty low lately, so it would probably help if i bumped that up a bit. i've just had a couple of days when i was sleeping a lot after a string of nights. i'm really not trying to restrict. today's a new day and i can use it to make good choices.
i gave my page a little facelift. the new photos are from my trip to vancouver island last spring with my partner. it was beautiful! we did so much interesting stuff and saw a ton of plants, animals, and nature in general. the photos bring back that sense of a truly relaxing and beautiful vacation for me.
today: cook up the farmers market veggies for lunches this week
tomorrow: maybe a 20 minute jog before work?
every day: still working on that generous thing from my last post :)
