I got a bike this week and I am so excited! My friends Jane, Lindy and I went on the Katy Trail Monday at rode 20 miles. That may not sound like a lot to some people but it was 13 more miles than I had ever ridden at once. I am hooked! I burned calories, but didn't hurt my back or knees. We got to see some beautiful countryside and had fun visiting and picking on each other.
I never dreamed a few years ago the Kayaking and Biking would be two of my favorite past times. I may be close to 50, but I am more active than I probably ever was. Never think that you can't go from coach potato to active, because if I can anyone can!
