Totally agree with Chumley54. We too do a nasal rinse once a day. DH has allergies, and it has helped with that. He hasn't had a cold or sinus infection in over a year now! That's significant because he used to have at least a half a dozen colds in a season, and was miserable during allergy seasons. We just bought the AYR plastic bottle in a kit and use that. I bought ours in our local grocery store where they have all of the cold and allergy stuff.

If you decide to do it, I have a recipe to make your own salt mix. It saves money and you don't have to worry about buying theirs every month.

Soup is good. Also, try a Neti Pot. I've been using one for 6 months. No more stuffiness, haven't even had a cold. A new record.

Do a search on SP for Neti Pot. Get a point and a cure.

The Neti pot won't cure you overnight, but you will get immediate relief and after a while, you will wonder how you did without it.

I do the nasal rinse once in the am and once in the PM.

A clear nose helps me breath at night (I have obstructive Sleep adnea and use CPAP).

I wish I had discovered the Neti Pot 10 years ago.
