I can't believe that i stuck with this program so long, and lost so much weight so fast..27 pounds....it wasn't as hard as i thought it would be..I was not feeling motivated in the month of September, the weight was not coming off as much as it did in August so this month I increased my exercise i have been going up to 2 hours per day, sometimes a little more!!(except for the weekends of course)Today me bathroom is being redone, and tomorrow the kids are outs of school, so my minutes i spend workout are going to be maybe, an hour or less, I did use todays day wisely I have spent the last few hours dedicated to cleaning my house so it will match my new bathroom..hehe..I have neglected my home somewhat, havent been cleaning the nooks and crannies because i have been so focused on my weight loss and spending my free time working out.I also have realized its time for my family to join me in this.My kids are real bad at eating vegetables, so i am making them take "samples" ir the vegetables i prepare.I have cut out fast food, my daughter loves the french fries, my son loves the cheeseburgers and they have went the last weekend without any, so its been almost 2 weeks without the fast food, however on the weekends we are still eating out, but making better choices of where we eat.For example, the mexican taco truck are just like homecooking, and a couple of tacos fill you up. so those we have been going to and find a lil fills you up.I am going to be more strict with my kids diet.I have not been allowing them to eat chips, but find healthier options.I hope this can help them in the long run the same as the diet change has helped me.My son is overweight, and i tell him to look at my changes and to see what i do everyday and how i struggle with my weight.I hope he can use me as an example to not let food take over his life like it has mine.I am now at 139, and feel better than ever i love standing in front of the kitchen sink without this huge belly in front of me..I love sitting down without all the extra baggage sitting on my legs..I know i got a ways to go..22 more pounds but as i am now i am starting to feel better and cant wait to loose more.Thanks to everyone for reading this blogg!!!Have a healthy and happy day!!!!

    I love that you are getting your kids involved! My younger ones are actually eating more veggies now that we've been changing what we eat, but it's sad to see the older ones still in bad habits. They are now out of high school, so it's hard to get them to switch. The younger the better. Way to not give up!!

    So proud of you for getting under 140! You're doing great! And good for you for working on getting your kids eating healthier. If you can give them good habits now it will make things so much easier for them down the road. I wish I had grown up with healthy eating habits. But my parent STILL eat terrible! And all four of us kids struggle with our weight. And we're all trying to learn to eat healthier and move more. :-)

    emoticon I am working on changing my son's eating habits as well. he ist over weight.. yet.. but will be on the current track. also, less time on the video games, more time outside :)
