Hi Everyone --
It's day #3 of my 12-week challenge -- I probably won't blog every day, but these first few are important and exciting in setting me up for success, so bear with me, ok?
This morning I had a nice bowl of steel cut oats with craisins -- yummy! Since they take about 25 minutes to cook, I made them last night and brought a bowl to work. Then, just microwaved and added a splash of milk.
My eating has been good from the portion-control perspective, but not as good as it could be in terms of fat, sugar, etc. I will work a little harder on that. Water drinking is going better, and exercise is picking up....
It's only day #3 and yet I feel different this time -- there's a sense of urgency combined with quiet resolve that is making the road a bit easier so far. Of course, I've been around the ol' weight loss block a few times to know that I can't let up or relax at all if I'm going to be successful. The next 12 weeks is going to set me up for the rest of my life (I hope) as a healthier, fit and active person!
