Week 3 of the 5% Fall Challenge

Tuesday, October 11, 2011

Well, I am happy to say that I am making progress! I am so very thankful to MaryAnn for her advice which led to my decision to give it one more try.

I started at 122 and still trying to get back to 117 - yes I know, not a terrible weight but the clothes feel better with the extra few pounds gone.

Today I am in the middle of Week 3 and have managed to get below 119 - WooHoo! Haven't seen this weight in a while and yes! my pants feel and fit better.

My DH is still growing me fresh cucumbers and I sit and munch them all day long, lol. He picks them small and I eat them from end to end, skin and all! 900 grams is less than 130 calories! WooHoo! Free food!! I bought some baby carrots for when the cucumbers quit again :(

Still walking and biking - I keep forgetting to use the trampoline - I can read on the bike but not on the trampoline.

**no internet 2 days - so far no binges!! WooHoo!

If you figure out how to read while using the trampoline...patent it. You'll make a fortune!

I'm glad you are achieving your goal. It doesn't matter the pounds - it is how you look and pants fit. LOL!

Great job! I haven't gotten there yet, but I've always heard that it's those last 5-10 pounds that are the clingiest-- good on you for making progress!

emoticon My cukes have long since died so I would have to buy them, sigh. Just not the same as homegrown. Glad you are getting back to where you want to be! I could see you trying to read on the trampoline LOL!
Love your spider wallpaper. I have the real deal, want some? HUGS!

Congrats on all your success! It isn't easy to get it back, but you are doing it. Yes, I know you'll feel better at your happy weight. Love the cukes and the activity - two great strategies. It's great!! Keep up the good work!
