As far as first days go, this was not my best. Woke up late, forgot my pre-made breakfast AND lunch, and had to rush off from work early to have my old car fixed (so no gym for me). Am I upset? No. I ate pretty healthily, despite the setback. I chose to walk my dog for my cardio today (not great, but better than nothing), and will be doing yoga at home before bed. It's like little orphan Annie told us - there's always tomorrow!
I'm going to bed early tonight so I don't repeat the mistakes of today. My goals for tomorrow are to go for a brisk 1 mile walk before work, to pack my breakfast, to choose a healthy option at the luncheon I'm attending, and to hit the gym before I make my way home. That shouldn't be too difficult, right? Healthy habits have to start somewhere!
