An undisciplined week

Monday, October 10, 2011

I have a list of goals to meet everyday. It's not a long list, nor is it complicated.
I allowed "life's curves" get in the way of meeting my daily goals. I am not going to beat myself up, but I will analyze and re-group.
When you have a "bad" day/week how do you react to it? do you continue to step backwards, away from your goals or do you forgive yourself and allow yourself to move forward? When we work at our goals one day at a time we will have more days moving forward....let's regroup together (if you need to) and we will succeed meeting those goals.....One day at a time.....Take time to "smell the roses" today. Take a couple of deep breaths and stay healthy. Enjoy your week.
FYI Our neighbor brought over some more tomatoes and green peppers - froze the peppers for chili this winter....made another tomato pie, will go great as a side with the jalapeņo chicken sausages we are having later.
HUGS to all who read this and thanks for stopping by.

Hey Barb! You and I both know that life is full of those nasty detours. And we have the ability to get back on the road, and you are. So, just keep focused on today and the rest will work out.

Hope all is well with you . . . hope that the life detours are nothing major for you.

    HUGS!

Everyone gets derailed, putting the track back together is sometime a problem, but with a little positive energy we can do it ! Have a great day!

I get derailed sometimes but I always eventually get back on track. I forgive myself and move on. We can do this!

Hi Barb...I can so relate to what you said in this blog. I know all about the daily struggles and trying to stay on track. I have my moments lately as well, where life just keeps throwing me curves and I keep slipping off the road of healthy eating. But I put it behind me...I don't beat myself up and I tell myself that I will do better tomorrow. This journey we are on is a long one and we are still learning. Going on those occasional detours is part of the learning process and we have to learn to let it go and move on, always keeping our eyes on the end of the road.Remember...PROGRESS, NOT PERFECTION and most of all....NEVER GIVE UP! I'm with you 100%, my friend...Martha

Life is filled with curve balls...and we just have to do our best to dodge them. When hit square on with one...best you can do is just what you are doing. RE-GROUP and start over again. Each day we have a fresh start...a chance to do better and carry on with our lives. WOO HOO! Have a joy filled day, Karen emoticon

As a retired (and loving it) person, when I look ahead at the week's calendar and see that I have more than three days where I have functions away from home, I begin to pull back. I love and need my unplanned time at home or projects will never get completed.
