JE LiveFit Week 8 Last Week of Phase Two

This is the last week of Phase 2 on the LiveFit program. I am excited to see what happens in Phase 3. So far it looks prety intense but I think that is where the real changes will come from.
This last week was pretty killer. I was so beat from doing the last leg workout ( very sore the next day) and my Saturday was very busy so I used it as my rest day and did my Back yesterday. It was a surprisingly easy workout and it went by quickly. Today's workout was really good but I found myself running out of time so I doubled up and did my abs inbetween my arm sets. This looks like what we will be doing in Phase 3 so I decided to start a little early. I did some measurements this week but will wait until the end of the week to post them so I can see the results after 8 weeks. There are some changes but not much. I am hoping this last phase will really start melting off the fat.
Over all I have enjoyed this program. I do like the menu and I had already been eating in this style for awhile. Finding new recipes has been the biggest challenge and eating clean 100% of the time when you are feeding a family and are on a budget is really hard but I do my best.

    I'm 2 days away from beginning the 9th week(Thursday). It looks to be a killer! I'm looking forward to it but also dreading it--it gets to be a big time commitment.

I end up cooking 2 meals--I'm vegetarian and my hubby & daughter aren't. So cooking 2 meals isn't new to me. A pain in the butt, tho... emoticon

    Today's is quite a long one! Im glad its a holiday and I had the day off.
I haven't seen any results yet at all. I actually measured my waist and it was up 1.5 inches. Im hoping TOM had something to do with it. It is hard to keep going when you aren't getting anything from it but Im sure we will both find it in phase 3!!!

    Great job on the workout. Finding recipes is hard........but takes alot of time to look into. Today Im making a chicken stir fry. I am trying to eat as clean as possible but it is hard sometimes. Have a good day!

    Yes! Eating clean when feeding a family is so hard. I have picky kids and I don't want to become a short-order cook, but I don't have too much choice. My husband is wiling to eat anything and is supportive of my cooking clean meals, but he supplements them by having a bunch of crap in the house which is so tempting for me! I just want to throw all the junk out of the house, but I know he'll just buy more.

Sigh.

I guess we just have to find a way around these challenges, because we can't change those we love and live with.
